Privacy Policy

Speak Ideas turns your speech into organized text. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We never collect or receive your data on any server we control.

What the app stores

• Your recordings and transcripts are stored locally on your device. They never leave it unless you explicitly enable an optional feature below.
• Your settings — including any API keys and your Mac password (if you use the optional Mac feature) — are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device.

Microphone & Speech Recognition

• The microphone is used only while you are actively recording.
• By default, transcription runs on your device (Apple Speech Recognition) — audio does not leave your iPhone.

Optional features that send data off the device

These are off by default and activate only if you turn them on and provide your own keys:

• Cloud transcription (Groq or OpenAI). With your own API key, a recording's audio is sent to the provider you chose, solely to produce a transcript, using your own account (groq.com / openai.com privacy policies apply).
• Text cleanup (Anthropic Claude). With your own key, the note's text is sent to Anthropic solely to correct and format it (anthropic.com policy applies).
• Your own Mac (SMB). Recordings sync over your local network to a folder on a Mac you control — only to your own computer, not to us.

In every case data goes only to the destination you configured, only to perform transcription/cleanup/sync, using credentials you provided. The app adds no recipients of its own.

What we do NOT do

• We operate no server that receives your recordings, transcripts or keys.
• No analytics, crash trackers, advertising SDKs or third-party tracking.
• We do not sell or share your data — we have no ability to access it.

Data deletion

Delete a note in the app to remove it from your device (and from your Mac on next sync, if enabled). Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To stop cloud features, remove the API keys in Settings.

Children

Speak Ideas is not directed at children and collects no personal information.

Speak Ideas перетворює мовлення на впорядкований текст. Без акаунтів, без аналітики, без реклами й трекінгу. Ми не збираємо й не отримуємо твої дані на жодному сервері.

Що зберігається

• Записи й транскрипти — локально на пристрої; не залишають його, поки сам не увімкнеш опційну функцію нижче.
• Налаштування (API-ключі, пароль Мака) — у Keychain на пристрої.

Мікрофон і розпізнавання

• Мікрофон — лише під час запису.
• За замовчуванням транскрипція — на пристрої (Apple Speech), аудіо не залишає iPhone.

Опційні функції (передають дані назовні)

Вимкнені за замовчуванням; працюють лише з твоїми ключами:

• Хмарна транскрипція (Groq/OpenAI) — аудіо йде до обраного провайдера лише для транскрипту, твоїм акаунтом.
• Чистка (Anthropic Claude) — текст нотатки йде в Anthropic лише для виправлення.
• Власний Mac (SMB) — синк у твоєму локальному мережі на твій комп'ютер.

Чого ми НЕ робимо

• Не маємо сервера, що отримує твої дані.
• Без аналітики, трекерів, реклами.
• Не продаємо й не передаємо дані.

Видалення / контакт
